Downloading CilwaLib

CilwaLib is available in two forms:

  • Source Code

The complete Visual Studio solution with all source files, ready to build and explore. Download Source Code

  • Compiled Library

Just the compiled DLL and debug symbols, ready to reference in your own projects. Download Compiled Library

Browser Security Warnings

When you download the .zip file, your browser may display a security warning. This is normal and expected--browsers warn about executable archives as a safety precaution. Here's what to expect:

Windows (Chrome, Edge, Firefox)

Your browser may show a message like "This type of file can harm your computer" or ask if you want to keep the file. This is a standard browser safety feature. You can safely ignore this warning for the CilwaLib source code--it contains only text and project files, nothing dangerous.

To download:

  1. Click the Download button above.
  2. If prompted, click Keep or Save to confirm the download.
  3. Once downloaded, right-click the file and choose Extract All (or use your favorite zip utility).

After Extraction

Once you've extracted the zip file, you'll find a Visual Studio solution file (.sln) that you can open directly in Visual Studio. The solution contains:

  • CilwaLib—The main class library project
  • CilwaLib Test Bed—A companion application that demonstrates and tests all features

From there, you can build the library, explore the code, or add it to your own projects as a Project Reference.

Next Steps

After downloading and extracting:

  1. Open the solution in Visual Studio
  2. Build the solution to compile CilwaLib.dll
  3. Run the Test Bed application to see all features in action
  4. Read the Using It page for instructions on referencing CilwaLib in your own projects
